This second book in the Feeling Empty series follows a young boy who is dealing with the death of his hamster. It is a story about grief and loss with thoughts and ideas to share with a child going through a form of loss themselves. Characters in the story discuss their experiences with the loss of a dog, cat and bird allowing children to connect with the characters and be able to talk about their own experience.

      Losing a fur baby is never easy!

      The book is great for anyone who has lost a pet. It creates the space to have a dialogue especially with kids to help them grieve in a healthy way.
